[Music Through the Lens] Kill The Complex through the LENS of Rob Fenn
Kill The Complex was the first band I was able to check out at the Sunset Music Festival. They kicked off the insanity at the Roxy Theatre and was a great surprise! I had never heard their music until I caught their live set, and if you ever see them on a marquee around Hollywood or anywhere else make sure to check out the show! Read more

[Campus Circle] Sunset Strip Music Festival: Takes Over West Hollywood
Getting excited for the Sunset Strip Music Festival shouldn’t be a challenge for anyone. Personally, I’ll be spending hours of the weekend of music at one of my favorite places in Los Angeles, the Sunset Strip. Talking to the bands that will be performing and the guys that will take over the show was the best way I could have asked to gear up for the show. Read more
[What’s the Ruckus] Big Tune: Kill The Complex – Wonderland
Okay, so here’s the thing – I’ve never seen an episode of Jersey Shore (hopefully that will elevate your opinion of me), but when someone points out a good band, I’m ready to throw my morals out the window and listen. That’s what happened last night when uber talented LA based rock band Kill The Complex were used to underscore Snooki’s heartache and confusion. It’s a great song, so have a listen here and let us know what you think in the comments. Lucky for you, I’m not posting video. Read more
[Golden Bloggen] KILL THE COMPLEX
There has been a lot of buzz around new LA band Kill The Complex, and I want to add some fuel to that fire. My boy Mike Elling is a member of this up and coming act and they have been turning a lot of heads in the past few months. If they sound familiar it may be because you heard their track“Get Away” on Jersey Shore last season. Or it might be because you heard them on KROQ’s Locals Only show, where they finished 5th last week behind She Wants Revenge, Awolnation, Cold War Kids, and the Fling. Read more
[Buzzbands.LA] The Buzzsicle: Sunset Strip Music Festival mixtape
Oh, Sunset Strip, you conflict me so. On one hand you are an interactive museum of rock clichés, Madame Tussauds with a pulse and a Flying V, a vast portion of your denizens seeking to inhabit the tattooed skin of GnR/Jane’s/Van Halen. On the other you inspire a certain sense of wonderment, because the fabric of Los Angeles needs your leather, lace and spandex, and maybe even Steel Panther just for laughs, no matter what they say east of Fairfax. [KROQ Exclusive] Get The Scoop On Locals Only Band Kill TheComplex
For too many musicians, we discover their drive is fueled by the prospect of fame, wealth, and megalomaniacal dispositions of grandeur. Not so for Dann Saxton, lead singer of the LA based rock band Kill the Complex, “I wanna touch as many people as I can. That’s the goal.” Read more
